In 2025, it will be 50 years since the artist organization Norwegian Crafts (Norske Kunsthåndverkere) was established.
An Impatient Desire is a comprehensive anniversary exhibition curated by craft artist Nina Malterud, who has herself been actively involved in the organization’s development since its founding in 1975.
Malterud has selected works from the 1970s to the turn of the millennium that highlight the intense energy that characterized the craft field during those decades.
